Telecommunications & ITS,in-ground carrier routes
In-ground service routes for the Optus and Telstra carrier networks and ITS cableways for major road upgrades.
Self-performed scope
Flomar builds complex in-ground service routes for the Optus and Telstra carrier networks. Scheme details for Flomar's contractor arrangements are provided with the prequalification pack on request. Our teams build the Intelligent Transport System cableways that smart motorways and upgraded corridors run on - conduits and pits to TfNSW R155, concrete encasement where cover cannot be achieved, cable hauling, and fibre termination and testing - with road crossings run on night shift around live traffic. Delivered ITS and communications packages include the Western Distributor smart motorway (19 locations), the M12 and M7-M12 corridors, Mona Vale Road and Western Sydney International Airport.

Our own crews, plant and method
We build the in-ground routes carriers and road authorities depend on. Scheme details for Flomar's contractor arrangements are provided with the prequalification pack on request. ITS work is staged work: mobilisations sequenced to the road build, road crossings on night shift, temporary reinstatement that keeps traffic moving, and conduit proving and fibre testing before handover to the authority.
