Concrete structures,form, reo and pour
Suspended slabs, HV pits, stormwater structures, retaining walls and rigid pavement - form, reo and pour.
Self-performed scope
Flomar self-performs structural and civil concrete - form, reo and pour, by our own crews. The register runs from suspended slabs and staircases to large HV pits, complex stormwater structures, rigid concrete pavement, kerb and gutter, footpaths and pram ramps. At depot scale that has meant 8,000m² of 250mm slab at the Interfleet maintenance facility; in a live rail corridor, two cut-and-cover tunnels at Chalmers Street; and in Canberra, the large, complex retaining wall enabling the city's light rail at Raising London Circuit. Formwork to AS3610, concrete to AS3600.
What this includes
- Suspended slabs and staircases
- Large HV pits and stormwater structures
- Retaining walls and cut-and-cover structures
- Rigid pavement, kerb, gutter, footpaths and pram ramps
- Formwork to AS3610, concrete placement to AS3600
Our own crews, plant and method
We form, reinforce and pour with our own crews to the structural detail - falsework and formwork, reinforcement fixing, placement, finishing and curing, with ITPs and hold points on every structural element. Precast is used where it is the better answer: pits, headwalls and elements installed and stitched into the in-situ work.
Plant & method
- Formwork and falsework
- Reinforcement and placement crews
- On-site and precast elements
