Project overview
The Mitchell Line project adds battery energy storage on a greenfield site beside the existing zone substation at Muswellbrook, extending storage infrastructure within the Ausgrid network.
What Flomar self-performs
- Site establishment, new entry road, bulk excavation and building platforms
- Strip footings for BESS units and pile footings and caps for PCS equipment
- Concrete oil-containment pits with sumps and DICL oil-containment drainage
- Stormwater drainage, swales and oil filtration pits
- New fire hydrant system connected into the existing service
- Earth-grid civils to NS222 and electrical conduits with concrete haunches
- Security fencing, gates and site reinstatement with as-built handover
