Project overview
A live data-centre development in Western Sydney requires new high-voltage supply infrastructure and a staged migration from its existing electrical connection. The exact campus and client are withheld by agreement.
What Flomar self-performs
- Construction of parallel 33kV feeder routes
- Trenchless crossings beneath road and waterway constraints
- Preliminary potholing and NDD service location along the routes
- Segregated fibre network for utility monitoring and SCADA with redundant site links
- Feeder integration at the network substation and the site's private switchboards
- Staged 11kV-to-33kV migration and cutover with no outage to the live IT load, then decommissioning of the 11kV supply
- Testing and commissioning - line impedance, HV injection and protection relay testing
Key quantities
