Kingsgrove Depot Power Works
Civil and high-voltage cable-route works supporting the power-supply upgrade for Kingsgrove's conversion to a battery-electric bus depot.
Wider-project context supplied by Flomar. This image illustrates the wider project; Flomar's own work is described below.
Project overview
Transport for NSW's Kingsgrove Bus Depot Conversion is upgrading an operating diesel-bus depot to support a fleet of around 155 battery-electric buses. The wider project includes a central charging system with pull-down chargers, upgraded power-supply infrastructure, a reconfigured bus-parking layout and decommissioning of the existing fuelling infrastructure. Bus operations are planned to continue through the staged conversion.
Within the wider depot conversion, Flomar's package covers the civil and high-voltage cable-route works for an Ausgrid-certified design, including the new high-voltage supply and kiosk infrastructure.
What Flomar self-performs
- Civil works for the new high-voltage supply and kiosk infrastructure to Ausgrid standards
