Pitt Town Bypass
A new bypass taking through traffic and heavy vehicles out of the Pitt Town centre while improving road safety and flood-route resilience.
Wider-project context supplied by Flomar. This image illustrates the wider project; Flomar's own work is described below.
Project overview
Transport for NSW's Pitt Town Bypass creates a 950-metre road connection between Pitt Town Road and Cattai Road. The wider project includes two new roundabouts and a bridge over Hortons Creek, providing an alternative route around the town centre for through traffic and heavy vehicles.
Flomar is delivering separate utility packages within Abergeldie's bypass works. The telecommunications utility package is in delivery, while the Jemena gas utility civil package is complete.
